Electronics product maker Wah Nam Group is contemplating a fund-raising exercise to fund a proposed $247.55 million acquisition of toll-road projects in the mainland. Along with bank borrowings, the firm said it would consider either a private placement or a convertible note. The buy will also be funded by selling its 50 per cent interest in associate Investment Austasia which would generate $123 million before expenses.
