I am concerned about the plight of the world's endangered species. Most of these animals are on the endangered list, because of the actions of humans.
They find it difficult to breed, especially with the deterioration of the environment. Such animals as pandas and dolphins face so many problems.
Although some endangered species may die as part of nature, being killed by predators, or as victims of natural disasters like earthquakes, others are targeted by selfish hunters.
In Hong Kong the Government could play its part by setting up a protection of animals foundation, which could train more scientists who could study the animals and develop schemes which could help save endangered species. These experts could educate the public and help get across the message that we must all work together to help save our environment.
All governments should pass and enforce tough laws which prohibit and punish hunters who kill rare animals. We have to create healthy environments for endangered species.
