The mainland is likely to bind the global zinc price as exports remain highly sensitive to price, a zinc trader said. 'China will continue to act as the floor and ceiling on zinc prices and treatment charges by exporting large quantities when the price is high and cutting back on exports during periods of low prices,' he said. The zinc concentrates market would be affected in the same way as the refined market, he said.
