Money magazine folds

M Magazine, a business and financial weekly, is to fold after the publication of today's issue.

TVE Publications announced the magazine would shut after 14 months in print due to 'the competitive difficulties faced by this title and the current difficult economic circumstances in Hong Kong'.

TVE Publications counts Cosmopolitan and Bazaar in its stable, and is owned by South China Morning Post Holdings.

The magazine enjoyed popularity amid the stock market boom through much of last year.

The group said subscribers would be refunded or subscriptions could be transferred to its other magazines.

Advertisers could transfer their adverts to its other publications or sister companies.
