It was a night at the Vienna Opera Ball for the high-society debutantes, and the usual faces. Highlights of the evening included an operatic duet between Warren Mok and Izabela Labuda, an acclaimed soprano from Vienna, and a joint performance by the Vienna State Opera Ballet School and the Academy for Performing Arts Ballet School.

All those who turned up for this evening of Austrian culture, organised by the Hong Kong Austrian Association, appeared to enjoy the goulash soup and quadrille at midnight as well as the mock casino which offered blackjack and roulette. Funds raised were to go to two charities - Operation Smile and Helping Hand.
