Hunghom units resold for loss
Two owners have resold their unfinished units at Laguna Verde, Hunghom, opting to take a loss of 40 per cent instead of continuing the struggle to find a mortgage, according to one estate agent.
Centaline Property Agency said the company managed two deals at The GreenWood in Laguna Verde yesterday.
One owner resold a 1,067 square feet unit for $6.8 million, or $6,373 per square foot, giving a loss of 42 per cent, or $4.98 million, in 14 months. It was bought for $11.78 million in March last year.
Another owner bought a 1,034 sq ft unit in Laguna Verde at $10.7 million last year and yesterday resold it at a 35 per cent loss for $6.9 million, or $6,673 per square foot.
