A FORMER policeman was among three people arrested for drug trafficking by east Kowloon detectives on Thursday night.

Two men and a woman aged between 22 and 33 were stopped at Wing Shun Street, Tsuen Wan, at 10 pm after a month of surveillance.

They were taken back to their flat in Riviera Gardens, where police seized 4.5 kilograms of No 4 heroin worth $3.5 million, 10 kilograms of caffeine and several bottles of sleeping pills classified as a Part One poison.

Police inquiries revealed that the 26-year-old suspect had left the police force two years ago for unknown reasons.
