Stone crazy - The lure of some select sparklers certainly drew the ladies about town to the De Beers '98 Diamonds-International Awards show at the Grand Hyatt. Adding to the attraction were a score of models showing off haute couture gowns from designers such as Valentino, Lacroix, Givenchy and Ungaro, specially flown in by the Swank Shop.

Dorera Jewels also showed its collection to the eager and elegant audience, among whose number were (left): Loletta Lai, Caroline Roberts, Michelle Ong Cheung and Rita Chan; (right): Fanny Ma, and Myra Pao and Teresa Tsang.
