Seapower came back from a 12-point deficit to beat Las Vegas Invitations 118-112 in a hard-fought Henderson Cup game at Southorn Stadium last night.

It was the second straight victory for Seapower, who finished second in last year's tournament.

Seapower defeated the Los Angeles Invitations 95-85 in the opening game on Sunday.

Seapower took a 56-51 lead into the interval after a close first half.

But Las Vegas, who received a last-minute invitation to replace the Egyptian national team, caught up soon after the restart - thanks to local side Fukien's small, young Chinese player Chung Ming-tat, who scored three successive three-pointers and a close-range jumper.

Las Vegas established a 83-71 lead after 10 minutes of the second half, but Seapower stayed in the game with jumpshots and free throws from Michael Cumberland, who plays for Hong Kong league champions Regal, and American Ja Ja Richards.
