Las Vegas leaving after loss

Hong Kong: Las Vegas Invitations have been eliminated from the Henderson Cup basketball tournament after losing 99-96 to Los Angeles Invitations in a round-robin game at Southorn Stadium, Wan Chai, last night.

The two sides had lost both of their previous games before last night so the game was a win-or-bust showdown. With only five teams in the competition just one team, the losers of last night's clash, would fail to advance to the semi-finals tomorrow. In last night's other game Wide Way Textile thrashed Seapower 92-79.
