The China Securities Regulatory Commission has set up a task force to tackle the problem of the millennium computer bug in the finance industry, the Shanghai Securities News said. The bug can cause chaos as computers confuse the year 2000 with 1900. The task force will complete a survey of problems by the end of this month and run a simulation test in February.
