Taiwan Academic Network (TANet), which links Taiwan's main academic bodies, has awarded AT&T a contract to expand and upgrade its education and research network. AT&T will provide network integration services with a high-speed DS3 digital link expanding TANet's international bandwidth between institutions in Taiwan and the United States.
