Today is the last chance to visit the Vocational Training Council's (VTC) roving exhibition of apprentice training opportunities at Wong Tai Sin Shopping Centre.

Visitors can get up-to-date information on training available for machinists, electricians, vehicle mechanics, goldsmiths, cooks and technicians in radio and television and the construction industry.

Inspectors will be available to answer questions about programmes, admission requirements and career prospects.

The exhibition is open from 10 am to 6 pm.

A VTC spokesman said formal apprenticeship training was 'the best way to equip young people for specific careers'.

Those seeking alternatives to academic studies should find the exhibition informative.

Apprenticeship training at craftsman and technician levels is suitable for Form Three and Form Five students.
