Lounge access rule change

Swire Group

I refer to the letter from L. Morris of Tai Tam (South China Morning Post, July 8), regarding the use of the new Cathay Pacific lounges at the Hong Kong International Airport.

As your correspondent correctly points out, there has been a change in our rules limiting lounge access to some categories of Marco Polo Club members when they are not flying with Cathay Pacific.

We decided to make this change after gathering feedback from our lounge users and evaluating the long-term customer service goals of our company.

Details of our new facilities and new lounge-use policies have been distributed to all Marco Polo Club members and will also be covered in the August edition of the Marco Polo magazine.

If L. Morris, or any other reader, has further questions about the Marco Polo Club please do not hesitate to write to me care of Cathay Pacific.
