A man accused of possessing more than 818kg of explosives appeared at the Court of First Instance for a preliminary hearing yesterday.

Lau Cheuk-fan, 31, is also alleged to have possessed detonators and more than 300 metres of safety fuse between January 7 and 18. The case was adjourned.
