50 years ago HONGKONG (July 27): NEWS has been received by the Kowloon Motor Bus Company that 10 of their new double-decker buses will be shipped from England within a week and should be arriving in the Colony in September. In anticipation, the lopping of branches from trees overhanging Nathan Road was resumed yesterday.
