Drug suspect escapes from hospital

A MAN who was arrested on Saturday after jumping bail over a dangerous drugs offence escaped from Queen Elizabeth Hospital early yesterday.

Police said the 40-year-old suspect was thought to have escaped through the window of the men's toilet in the general ward at about 6 am.

He had been taken to hospital on Sunday after complaining he felt unwell.

The man had been caught by police during a routine stop and search in Wong Tai Sin.
