Zen Pacific wins $705m in contracts

Zen Pacific Construction has won four contracts worth $705.5 million for work in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

The first two have been awarded to Zen Pacific subsidiary Ngo Kee Construction by the Government's Architectural Services Department.

One involves the construction of a sports and recreation club at So Kon Po for the disciplined services and is to be completed next year. The second calls for improvements to the Government Dockyard at Stonecutters Island.

The Mass Transit Railway Corp has awarded a contract to Zen Pacific Civil Contractors to install trackwork, overhead power lines and associated track-side equipment between Quarry Bay and North Point stations. Completion of the project is in November 2000.

A contract has also gone to the Guangzhou office of Zen Pacific Civil Contractors, for the construction of section 6A of the Ji-He Expressway (West) in Shenzhen.
