Duty-free retailer DFS Group has drawn up a three-year development plan in Hong Kong despite shrinking its operations a few months ago.

Asia Group president James Hurley yesterday said DFS would open 'some' specialty stores mostly in Kowloon where it had two flagship stores. He said the stores were profitable in the first-half this year. After cutting 320 jobs during that half and closing down two stores, he said DFS planned no further lay-offs and shutdowns in the coming months.
