Pigs are still being pumped with a potentially lethal drug for humans despite a crackdown, it was revealed last night.

The Health Department said it was delaying the resumption of pig offal sales after unacceptable levels of the anti-asthma drug, clenbuterol, were found in samples taken on Wednesday.

A new testing system for the drug will be introduced today.
