Red chip appoints chairman

Guangzhou Investment has appointed Liu Jinxiang as chairman and executive director. He succeeds Zhang Bohua who has retired as chairman but remains as an executive director. Mr Liu was previously deputy mayor of Guangzhou city in charge of areas such as industries, transport and science and technology.
