Dalian Wanda

Dalian Wanda stayed undefeated at home and pulled farther ahead of the pack in China's professional league with a 3-0 drubbing of Chinese Army.

The defending champions controlled the field throughout the match and overpowered the army side with goals in the 16th, 50th and 73rd minutes. The win extended Dalian's home-win streak to 10 and widened their lead over second-placed Shanghai Shenhua to nine points.

The latter battled Vanguards Huandao to a goalless draw, and third-placed Beijing Guo'an suffered a 2-0 upset at the hands of Yanbian Aodong.

In the other action Wuhan Hongjinglong, led by new coach Qi Wusheng, won their second straight game by beating Qingdao Hainiu 1-0.

Qi, the head coach of the Chinese national team in his previous job, was dumped in disgrace after the country failed to qualify for this year's World Cup finals.
