Air-freight capacity between Australia and Chile will be boosted by October next year after an air services revision.

The arrangement provides for routes between three ports in Australia and Chile, five destinations beyond, and fifth-freedom rights in Tahiti and New Zealand, allowing Australian and Chilean airlines to collect passengers at the two stopovers.

Code-share plans allow carriers to develop alliances either bilaterally or with third-country airlines.
