NEC sets new staff target

Japan's NEC Corp is to raise the number of computer software engineers in the mainland to 2,000 from 150 over the next three years. NEC has found it hard to hire enough software engineers at home as the computer industry grows rapidly, it said. It has been entrusting software developments to mainland and Indian companies due to their software-oriented industries.
