In reply to Marshall Berdan's letter, 'Angered by misconception of Sino-Japanese day' (South China Morning Post, September 11), my advice to you: get over it, get a life. This world is full of this kind of thing.

In terms of what happened during World War II, I have never read an English publication which says anything about Russians or Poles or gypsies or Serbs being massacred in death camps. More than 12 million people were murdered in those camps, but all we hear of is the Jews.

In terms of war effort, most English publications ignore the Eastern Front, where the German army's back was really broken, and Russians seldom mention the Western Front.
