Toshiba's Satellite 330 series of notebook PCs are aimed at business people who want value for money. Equipped with Pentium MMX 266 MHz processors, and 12.1 inch displays, the Satellite 330s are neither the fastest nor boast the biggest screens.

But at only $14,900 for the 330CDT (with active-matrix screen) and $12,900 for the CDS (dual-scan), the computers are on the low-end of the price scale. They also include a standard 3.81 GB hard drive, 32 MB of RAM, a Lithium Ion battery, a hot-swappable bay for either the floppy or 20x CD-Rom drive. It weighs three kilos, which includes the battery, floppy and CD-Rom drives.
