Maanshan Iron & Steel's parent, formerly Maanshan Magang Holding, has been restructured to operate as a mainland wholly owned state enterprise and has renamed itself Maanshan Magang (Group) Holding. The group will be operated as a stock holding entity and has been authorised to manage state assets allocated to it on behalf of the state government.
