An inmate from Victoria Prison was taken to Queen Mary Hospital after a three-day hunger strike.

The man, believed to be African, went on hunger strike last Friday after being sent to the prison on September 15. He took only water during the protest. He was arrested after he failed to present his travel document at Chek Lap Kok.
