Hong Kong: Golden Harvest Entertainment managing director Fung Tung and general manager Albert Lee have resigned, along with several other executive and non-executive directors. Mr Fung said last night he had resigned for personal reasons, retiring after serving the board for two years, and that chairman Raymond Chow Ting-hsing had 'graciously accepted my desire to leave the board'. He said that while he could not comment on the other resignations, his own had nothing to do with the takeover of the company by Village Roadshow.
