The KELY Support Group, a bilingual organisation that works for and with Hong Kong's youth, is seeking donations of new or used office equipment, such as chairs, computers, photocopiers and fax machines, to replace its ancient equipment and expand its service. Calling all doctors and pharmaceutical, toy and electronics companies: ORBIS, the flying eye hospital, needs medical supplies - drugs and equipment - for eye surgery, audio-visual equipment for training, and toys to entertain kids in recovery. Call Mr So on 2877-9373.

The SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) requires old blankets to keep animals warm during the coming winter, old towels for sick animals (they are disposed of after one use) and newspapers for kennels and catteries. Hong Kong's largest orphanage, Po Leung Kuk, is looking for new sponsors to pay $900 a year. The children also appreciate encouraging letters and visits. Call 2576-3386.
