Blue was the colour and winning was the aim as Blue House triumphed to take the overall champions' trophy at a packed athletics meet.

Spurred on by colourful cheering teams, more than 500 athletes competed at the 12th athletic meet of SKH Tsoi Kung Po Secondary School.

The meet was opened by school principal Miranda Lai Lee Kwan-tai.

The competition, which was held at Hammer Hill Road Sports Ground in Kowloon, consisted of track and field events on an inter-house basis.

Watched by hundreds of spectators, members of the five school houses did their best to strive for the championship titles.

Green House took the cheering team champions' prize for their enthusiastic efforts.

Presenting the prizes at the end of the two-day meet, Hong Kong Institute of Education PE lecturer Chow Wah said winning was not the only aim in sports. Taking part was also important, he said.
