IIs arrested after couple's knifepoint robbery ordeal

A couple were robbed at knifepoint by two men after visiting an ancestor's grave in Cheung Sha Wan yesterday.

The couple, both 46, were intercepted by the men as they walked along Wing Tak Road minutes after leaving the Catholic cemetery at 9.20am.

The victims, who were not hurt, were robbed of $500 and a gold wrist chain.

The robbers fled towards Ching Cheung Road.

A passerby helped the couple. They reported the robbery and police searched the area, spotting two suspects on Ching Cheung Road.

When officers chased the suspects, one of them threw a bag on the ground as he fled.
