YGM hurt by retail slowdown

Apparel retailer YGM Trading posted a 63.7 per cent fall to $21.51 million in net profit for the six months to September 30, hit by the slowdown of the retail industry in Hong Kong. Turnover fell to $893.26 million from $1.08 billion. Earnings per share were 14.1 cents, against 38.3 cents. Directors declared an interim dividend of 10 cents, down from 11 cents.
