Students should make good use of information technology (IT) facilities to prepare themselves for the future in an ever-changing society, Director of Education, Fanny Law Fan Chiu-fan, has said.

Officiating at a ceremony marking the opening of the new wing of Cheng Chek Chee Secondary School in the New Territories, Mrs Law said the Government had put up new buildings in many schools and equipped them with advanced technology.

She encouraged students to make good use of IT facilities to enhance their knowledge so they could make a greater contribution to society in the future. The guests, teachers and students all agreed that the facilities in the new wing and the latest IT equipment provided to other schools would greatly benefit the younger generation and ensure a prosperous future for Hong Kong.
