AUSTRALIA'S largest base metal miner, MIM Holdings, says profit for the third quarter crashed 46 per cent on lower zinc and lead prices.

Profit for the quarter ended on April 4 fell to A$16.3 million (about HK$90.6 million), in line with market expectations, but analysts say falling metals prices will mean lower results for the fourth quarter.
