Records tumbled as students leapt to new heights at a school athletics meet.

Chong Gene Hang College held its 23rd athletics meet at Wan Chai Stadium.

Records were broken in the Grade C high jump, Grade B high jump, Grade B 100 metre hurdles, Grade C 1500 m race and Grade B triple jump.

Athletes from White House took centre stage and were rewarded with the overall champion title.

The meet ended with the prize-giving ceremony.

The guest-of-honour was Cheng Yu-hon, who won the Hong Kong Best Athlete award in 1996 and 1997.

He praised the participants for their perseverance, keen sense of sportsmanship and team spirit.

The students waved their banners and flags and shouted tumultuously as the winners received their well-deserved prizes.
