Full speed ahead . . . the Ullswater is part of the fleet operated by P&O Bulk Carriers, one of the companies of the P&O Group, moving iron ore, coking coal and steam coal for the world's leading steel producers, power utilities and raw-material shippers.

The annual cargo volume of some 17 million tonnes, mainly carried under a variety of affreightment contracts, is handled by a fleet of modern dry-bulk carriers ranging in size between 100,000 and 190,000 deadweight tonnes (dwt) and totalling about 2.5 million dwt.

The company's head office is in London with representative offices in the United States, Japan and Australia.
