Emirates Airline has a promotion for sending faxes or making telephone calls in-flight. The cost has been reduced from US$8 (about HK$62) per minute to US$6.50. Passengers can pay by credit card.


Emirates was the first commercial airline to install satellite telecommunications throughout its fleet.


Meanwhile, Emirates and Arabian Adventures, its destination arm, are offering special packages for major golf and tennis events to be held in Dubai next month, the European PGA Desert Classic and the ATP Tennis Open.
