Hong Kong's Marco Fu Kar-chun maintained his recent good form by advancing to the second round of the Regal Welsh Championship in Cardiff yesterday.
Marco crushed Scotland's Graeme Dott 5-0 and had more reason to celebrate after compiling the highest break so far in the tournament - 121.
Fu led 4-0 at the end of the first session after winning the opening frames, 117-0, 70-22, 125-0, 76-43.
The 20-year-old reigning world amateur champion then compiled a break of 44 to snatch the fifth frame 71-50. Fu will now play either Scotland's Alan McManus or England's Alan Burnett in the second round this evening.
Thailand's James Wattana found some of his old form to overcome his first-round opponent, England's Robert Milkins, 5-4.
