Your newspaper rightly reported on the barbaric destruction of yet another species of wild life, the Tibetan antelope, being crucified at the altar of profits and high fashion. For this and other recent articles highlighting environmental problems you are to be commended.

It is disappointing, however, that your correspondent Kavita Daswani (Style briefing, February 3) implicitly supports retailers illegally trading in shahtoosh, the wool of the antelope.
