Another 91,700 people have signed up to vote in the District Council elections in November.

This has boosted the voter population in geographical elections to 2.83 million.

Those newly registered include 46,140 people aged between 18 and 25.

The provisional registers for the geographical and functional constituencies polls will be open for public inspection today.

A government spokesman urged all registered electors to check if their names were included on the registers and to ensure that their residential addresses were correct.
