THREE young men armed with knives raided a trading company in Mongkok and escaped with 33 mobile telephones valued at $250,000.

The robbery occurred shortly after 6 pm yesterday when the three, two of whom appeared to be about 14 years old, rushed at the company's proprietor as he was entering the premises on the sixth floor of Man Sun Building in Portland Street.

They tied up the 34-year-old proprietor before ransacking the premises and escaped with the telephones and $10,000 in cash.

Detectives found two pairs of workers' gloves on the building's back staircase which they believe belonged to the raiders.
