Helicopter pilots from the Government Flying Service had to cancel a training exercise in Pat Heung last night because villagers were setting off rockets, flares and fireworks.
Pilots spotted the fireworks over Kat Hing Wai at about 7.20 pm and called police. The fireworks were presumed to be marking Chinese Valentine's Day.
