One morning recently, I stopped at a branch of Delifrance on my way to work and bought two croissants and a cup of coffee for breakfast. These three items were put in three separate bags.

When will Delifrance understand that reducing waste - in this case two bags - is necessary for the planet's survival, as well as more profitable for companies that refuse to provide unnecessary bags? When I told the clerk that one bag was more than enough for such a small purchase, he even offered to put the three bags into another, larger bag. Some people will never learn, because that's what their bosses tell them.
