WingTai flats target rapid start to sales
Developer WingTai Asia could begin internal sales of The Waterfront - its six-tower luxury project at the airport railway's Kowloon Station - as early as next week, according to property agents.
The developer received consent from the Government this week to sell 705 of the 1,288 units in the project.
One salesman for the project said internal sales would start after completion of the show suite, which was expected to be ready for viewing by April 20.
Frank Marriott, managing director of the project's marketing consultant FPDSavills Realty, said that a ballot and public sale would be held 'within the next couple of months'.
Agents estimated flats would cost about $6,000 per square foot while duplexes would sell for $9,000 to $10,000 per square foot.
Most units are more than 1,000 square feet.
