A MEMBER of the South China Athletic Association who claims he was injured while filling in a membership form is suing the organisation for damages.

Computer firm manager Wong Yick-yuen's writ says he was filling in a renewal form on a glass table when it broke and injured him. The writ says the association caused or permitted the table 'to be or to become or to remain a danger'.

The accident on April 27, 1996, was said to have been caused by negligence on the part of the association.
