Rosana offers an exotic menagerie
WE certainly are a soft touch when it comes to animals - and don't our friends at the RSPCA know it.
Once again Rosana Lai - who carries the quaint title of public relations and homing manager - is on the line to tell us (between intermittent sobs) that a number of abandoned pets will have to be put down if Keeping Posted didn't do something about it - which naturally started us blubbing as well.
The line-up of loveable creatures on offer this time around is quite exotic. They include a fire-bellied toad, a frog, a red parrot and a three-legged Persian pedigree cat.
Add to that menagerie four basset hounds, a beagle, two Rottweilers, a Maltese and two German shepherds and you've got one hellish racket.
The frog, toad and parrot belong to someone who is leaving Hongkong and would like if possible that all three animals go to the same household.
