The Green Hong Kong Activities Funding Scheme

The Green Hong Kong Activities Funding Scheme aims to encourage schools, green groups or horticultural associations to take the initiative and organise activities such as tree planting, exhibitions and competitions to help promote a greener Hong Kong.

To apply for subsidies for their activities, applicants have to provide a detailed plan of their proposed activity, estimated expenditure, the amount of subsidy applied for, and their experience in organising relevant activities.

Leaflets and application forms are available from the District Offices of the Urban Services Department.

The Sex - Bridging the Circle of Life exhibition uses computers and interactive exhibits, video presentations, animal and plant specimens and models to explore various sexual strategies from courtship to reproduction.

It is on at the Hong Kong Science Museum. Closed on Mondays.

Tickets are $25 (students, half-price). On Wednesdays admission is free.

Under the Chinese Musi cian Series' dizi recital by Jiang Guoji, you can experience the unique sounds of traditional wind instruments ranging from padi and bangdi to qudi and koudi.

Jiang is a member of the Chinese Musicians Association.

The programme features Chinese masterpieces including The Song of the Riverboat, Picking Tea Leaves, North Wind, A Vast Desert and Sword.

It will be held in the Cultural Activities Hall of Sha Tin Town Hall at 8 pm on June 5.

The Sixhibition is an installation art show featuring different architecture designs and models by architecture graduates.

In conjunction with the exhibition, an architecture and education forum will be held tomorrow from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm at 1aspace, 1/F, Block E, 12 Oil Street, North Point.

The exhibition is now on display at the same place from noon to 8 pm (Tuesday to Sunday) until June 13.
