Every day I see press reports about people who are worried over the Y2K bug with regard to utilities, transport, bombs, etc.

However, all these potential problems will fade into insignificance if the Daya Bay nuclear plant is not Y2K compliant.

Can we have assurances from Daya Bay's management and from the SAR Government that safety devices are in place and that the plant will not be affected by the Y2K bug? Otherwise I shall go on holiday, leaving before the turn of the century and returning after January 1.
