MUCH in the news these days in Britain is Group 4 - a company awarded the franchise to escort prisoners to and from jail, and who within a few weeks in business have managed to ''lose'' nine of their charges, a scandal that has come to be known as Opengate.

Back in the news at the weekend in the Philippines was Imelda Marcos, who has secured the rather grudging consent of the Ramos Government to bring her husband's body back home from Hawaii for burial and will soon make arrangements to have ex-dictator Ferdinand's remains escorted back to the Philippines.

Perhaps President Ramos should put Imelda and Group 4 in touch with one another.
